The Swordsmith Village Arc for Demon Slayer Season 3 has a release date and a stunning new trailer presenting the anticipated tale.
According to Crunchyroll, the series will adapt the widely anticipated tale from the Demon Slayer manga as a special one-hour debut episode on Sunday, April 9, at 23:15 JST. A brand-new teaser intrigued viewers with snatches of gorgeously animated action sequences from Tanjiro Kamado and the group. The trailer also debuted the new opening theme tune, “Kizuna no Kiseki,” by MAN WITH A MISSION and Milet. Ufotable, the animation company behind Demon Slayer’s anime adaptation, has published the first key picture for the Swordsmith Village Arc. Haruo Sotozaki continues to direct the series.

Although the Swordsmith Village Arc will not officially begin until April 9, Demon Slayer fans will be able to see the first episode when Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – “To the Swordsmith Village” hits theaters on March 3. Episodes 10 and 11 of the Entertainment District Arc, as well as the first episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc, are included in the bonus feature, which is offered in 4K resolution with restored audio. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – “To the Swordsmith Village” premiered in Japan on February 3, with an L.A. debut on February 18. Reviewers hail Demon Slayer Season 3 as “another engrossing, breathtaking episode in the saga of Nezuko and Tanjiro.”
Demon Slayer is set in Taish era Japan and follows Tanjiro Kamado as he enlists in the Demon Slayer Corps after a demon cruelly murders his family. The lone survivor of the attack is Tanjiro’s younger sister, Nezuko Kamado, who became a demon with minimal humanity. Tanjiro is dead determined on avenging his family’s deaths and finding a method to bring his sister back. The manga series was written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge.
The Demon Slayer manga began on February 15, 2016, and ended on May 18, 2020, with a total of 23 volumes. An anime adaptation by Ufotable debuted on April 6, 2019. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, an anime film released in 2020, achieved a worldwide box-office success and was later adapted into the anime TV series for Season 2.
